i found out about this product when i saw someone with amazing makeup and her base literally looked like butter! i asked her what she was wearing and she told me it was this very ilia beauty complexion stick, it blends in so well into your skin and literally melts into it like butter, i reccomend!

Fantastic Foundation stick!
I love the packaging, is elegant and convenient for travel. The format itself is super practical and is easy to use. It is a lightweight formula with a natural finish. I like the texture as it really glides on smoothly with a blurring effect and it blends pretty well. Also, it wears well through the day on my normal to combo skin. However, for very dry skin I recommend to use a rich moisturising or primer to prep your skin before in order to avoid the foundation sits on dry patches. Recommended!

Excellent portable stick
Just like the Ilia skin tint but not shiny. This easy to use stick gives a matte finish. I keep this in my bag as a concealer for touch ups or for full coverage if needed. Excellent for travel. Good range of shades available. Easy to blend so an essential for your makeup up bag or when travelling.

Light buildablec overage, good for oilier skin
I have this in Aspen and Tupelo, as I shade matched myself online. The colours do have some leeway as the coverage is quite light, but is buildable. I tend to use the lighter shade on areas I want to brighten. The formula goes on so smoothly and does not highlight pores, though you need to moisturise your skin well beforehand (I use Ilia's The Base Face Milk). I do find it clings to the creases of my nose a bit, but a bit of additional attention when blending seems to sort it out. It wears well throughout the day, even on my oily skin, but I do need to powder/blot. I think it is fantastic for travel as they are small, non-liquid and easy to apply on the go. The stick feels very hefty and very ergonomic. It is expensive, but I find you don't need much so I expect it last a long time.

Convenient cover
I bought this in store after being colour matched as I wanted something I can use in the mornings getting ready for work when I am rushing at short of time. This product does the job of adding cover in places in lieu of a full foundation or tinted serum. It does need blending, if not blended the application will be noticeable. But it’s great for concealing areas of concern. I would recommend getting colour matched by the store experts.Ilia are a lovely brand.
