Banish shine with Rae Morris Invisible Mattifier. This transparent powder, ideal for every skin tone, is perfect for both men and women and offers a smooth, light-to-medium coverage.
Formulated with silicone resin microspheres, Rae Morris Invisible Mattifier provides a mattifying, soft-focus effect. Its optical properties help to spread the light and blur the appearance of flaws to reduce pore visibility for a naturally flawless look.
The gel-like powder includes pyrrolidone carboxylic acid (PCA). It helps to keep the skin hydrated, soft and supple. Used on top of makeup, it helps give the skin a velvety appearance. Used alone the powder works to leave skin shine-free with a silky, smooth finish.

Great for Summer
Silicone based which seems strange at first, however this is a geat product which instantly mattifies skin without removing make up, or leaving it looking cakey. Also good to use on make up free days to eliminate shine. Blurs pores, imperfections and fine lines, will always be a staple in my handbag now.

A Summer Staple
Such a fascinating product. This will instantly mattify the skin, without making it look flat. You can use it over makeup - great for a glass skin look, without a powder finish. This can also be used on bare skin to take down shin throughout the day. Perfect for summer to touch up and get rid of midday shine, but not look overly powdered.

Invisible Mattifier
I saw Lisa Eldridge use this in one of her videos and I was intrigued. Also another favourite blogger of mine called Really Ree had tried it and really liked it. I am 47 and too much powder makes me look 10 years old. I haven’t had a problem with applying this as with some other reviews on here and it is invisible and pore blurring. I only use a small amount on my t-zone but it’s a really clever and innovative product.

Not for me.
I will continue to try and get this to work for me but it hasn’t yet. It just pilled up on my skin, it’s quite difficult to find a way to apply this. Maybe I will try it as a blotting product. I think it’s maybe better suited to a makeup artist or professional.

So-so primer
This was suggested to me by a Space NK shop assistant. I needed something specifically for hot climates that was matifying. I wanted to make sure that if I take photos there would be no excessive shine on my face. First, I took this with me to Cambodia in March, and felt that it was difficult to mold into a more fluid texture that I could freely apply on my face. The contents was quite hard, but I think this shouldn't be the case when used in climates that are not so hot. I've sampled it again in Dublin, and it seems that the texture has gone back to something that can easier be blended in. I feel that it's quite expensive for what it is. If you're traveling and are unsure of how the product will change consistency, then it's best to go with something you're safe. I wanted to actually get a matifying primer from Erborian which I know is phenomenal, but it wasn't available at the time of my purchase. I think this one will be hyped because it's a fairly new product and the company will try to sell it no matter what.
