- Shake Brow Pen before use
- Starting at the highest point of the brow, apply hair-like strokes in sparse areas
- Use light pressure and work towards the end of the brow, applying in the direction of hair growth
- Next, apply hair-like strokes through the front of the brow
- Working off the back of the cap, swirl Brow Freeze into a spoolie brush and remove excess before applying
- On clean brows, brush a small amount of Brow Freeze through the brow using the spoolie brush to tame hairs into place
- Lay brow hairs down flat for a laminated effect. Keep Brow Freeze tightly sealed when not in use

Great products
This is a great kit, although I am not sure I would use these products together. The balm is fantastic - crystal clear, hold the brows in place and doesn’t flake. The pen is also really good, the tip is really fine, creates hair like strokes. I just never use the two together, pencil and gel would have been a better combo I believe.

Nice
I was more looking for a gel than a pen after having my brows laminated to keep them where I brushed them. Previous gels in tubes had dried quickly and I constantly had flakes in my brows! I have not experienced this with the gel, not sure how good it is yet, seems OK. Pen is an added bonus to add some strands to my brows

Products are better on their own, worse as a kit
Starting off, I like the gel and I think the brow pen is just okay. But I think the brow pen is a lot worse when used with the gel. The reason being is that the pen doesn’t draw well or at all over the gel. The pen ink, literally just doesn’t appear unless I draw over the same spot repeatedly. The pen works fine on bare eyebrows and on my hand, but with the gel, it’s basically useless. It’s also no point to apply the pen before the gel, because the way I apply the gel moves any product I apply beforehand. For reference, I use a spoolie to apply the gel. I would repurchase the gel alone, but not the pen. Even though the pen works ok by itself, putting it in this kit with the intention to use it alongside the gel is a bit redundant. If you’re interested in using both products separately, sure, this might be a great purchase, but otherwise I wouldn’t recommend this kit. With that being said, I’m glad I was able to purchase both products without committing to the full size, and I think the brow gel is a decent product. This is my first solid brow gel/wax product and I think this works so much better than the more liquid brow gel products that come in tubes. I like it enough that I might consider repurchasing it on its own but I think I want to try other solid brow wax products to see how they compare to this one.
