Brightens undereye thick texture
This eye cream is one of the thickest eye creams I have used. It’s got an almost sticky texture which seems to be the case with creams for both the eye and lip contour. I used this exclusively twice a day for over a month in place of my usual eye cream, to see how effective it is. Firstly it’s a very white cream, I have very thin delicate undereye skin which can look blue. This cream will help brighten dark circles as it’s so white but I found I had to wear concealer over it as otherwise it looked too stark. It’s sticky on application but dries down ok, as with the other eye and lip contour creams I have tried this does not really sink into my skin, it almost tightens into a smoothing layer. I do have very dry skin under my eyes and found this alone was not hydrating enough it seemed to form a barrier layer rather than hydration. In terms of results this did seem to have an effect on the skin it seemed a little smoother, possibly firmer and helps with puffiness. However it had no effect on my fine lines or smile lines in fact they started to look worse as my usual eye cream KateCeuticals does reduce the look of them. It’s almost like it slightly improved the skin around the lines, but that was it. After a month I stopped using it as overall it’s just was not hydrating or effective enough for my skin. I think if maybe your skin is normal to oily and you don’t have dehydration lines or lines yet but need an eye cream to brighten and firm it could be worth trying. If your skin is dry, dehydrated or you prefer a lighter cream, or need to deal with lines or wrinkles I would not recommend it.
Best Use: Loss of Firmness, Puffiness, Brightening
