Refreshing moisturiser
I've been searching for a new moisturiser and this new release caught my interest, I already use (and love) a bunch of different products from The Ordinary but have never tried any of their moisturisers - I have sensitive combination skin and this product feels lightweight and refreshing when applied, previously many gel type moisturisers have left my skin feeling tacky/sticky, tight and not hydrated enough but this one sinks in quickly with no sticky feeling or pilling, it does give adequate hydration for these warmer months but as my skin gets drier in winter I can see myself returning to a thicker cream that I'm used to. Worth noting: I use the Drunk Elephant D-Bronzi daily, usually mixed with a cream moisturiser, tried it mixed with this and it still works fine! I also found that this product acts as a good primer for tinted moisturiser

I received this as a promotional campaign by spacenk and I must say it nice value for money would be used as a thin layer instead of serum to give an extra boost of hydration for more drier skin which I have as I use tretnoin so for me it would work as a base for my active skincare and something more richer on top of that for more humid days would work nice alone

Great for oily skin
I have oily combination skin. This is a clear gel based moisturiser that dries super fast on the skin. Initially I thought this was not hydrating enough for me but then I started to use a bit more than my initial pea drop and I noticed a difference. I think it would be suited to oilier skin types or for those who want absolutely no slip on their face after applying a moisturiser. It may serve well as a mattifying primer as well not for longevity as such but to really prevent shine. I am giving it 3 stars as it just was not for me but I respect that an oilier skin type would appreciate it a lot more. I would recommend it for them

I was sent this product for review purposes. I prefer a gel consistency when the weathers warmer. On initial use I found this product drying on my face, I didn’t use any other skincare products so I could gage the true effect. I ended up putting on a 2nd layer which helped a bit. After that I went in with my usual serums and used after but didn’t give me that wow factor. Not for me and will be passing on. My skin is quite dry and I prefer a far more hydrating moisturiser.

So hydrating
This is so hydrating on the skin and you only need to use a pea size so this bottle is not only cheap but will last ages. However would liked to have some spf in my creams but not a biggy. Have already recommended to my friends and I would definitely buy again.
