Reasonable but better toners are out there
Was excited to try the Apple toner as.I have used and enjoyed the brightening serum from Votary and had seen results that worked for me. Whilst I did not have any adverse reaction to my skin (a concern with some fruit acid based products) I also did not feel there were any fantastic improvements. Would I invest in this again? Probably not, I feel there are equivalents out there that deliver better results.

Decent toner
This is a decent toner which is gentle on the skin. On the one hand it didn’t cause me any irritation at all although on the other hand I didn’t notice any particular results. I expected it to smell strongly of apples but the scent is very faint with not even a whiff of apples. I won’t be repurchasing it as I believe there are better acids out there.

I love Votary products. I have yet to come across one that I don’t love. This oil is beautiful. It absorbs into the skin and it feels light and enriching. My skin is smoother and clearer after using this oil. You only need a small amount so the bottle lasts for ages. I would definitely repurchase this product. Definitely buy again

Not worth it
I was exciting to try this toner but was left feeling very disappointed with the (lack of) results. There was no visible difference after using daily for a fortnight. Two stars purely because it caused no adverse reactions. Not worth the price tag - would not recommend.
Best Use: Uneven Skin Texture
Gentle
I didn’t love this. I found it to be gentle so I experienced no irritation, peeling or dryness. But I didn’t experience any skin brightening immediately (like I do with, for example, the Dr Dennis Gross peel pads) and I didn’t really find this to be effective. Maybe it is meant to ve used daily, but I prefer a stronger liquid exfoliant that I only use 2-3 times per week.
