REN Bio-Retinoid Anti-Ageing Concentrate
I have been using the REN Bio-Retinoid Anti-Ageing Concentrate at night to help with a stubborn fine line and spot of pigmentation. Pleasant smell, nice texture, but it tales a while to take effect. I find it brightens the skin, but I used something much stronger on the pigmentation spot as it didn't seem to be working on that. It is very gentle and doesn't cause me any reactions, which I prefer to a traditional retinol serum.
Best Use: Brightening
It sells out quick so I always get a couple. There are many retinol products on the market but they often overload the skin but this one balances it perfectly.

Effective wrinkle and blemish treatment
Have just bought this again as I love the effects. Much gentler than other retinol products and ideal on my dry skin. I use it every evening after cleansing and toning and before my moisturiser. It’s made a noticeable difference to my complexion with a smoother appearance, fewer blemishes and - I think - a reduction in my forehead wrinkles. Luxurious and nourishing.
Best Use: Uneven Skin Texture

The one Ren product I don't like
I bought this to replace another retinol product, but of course I misread the label, this is not a true retinol formula. Natural yes, effective ? Not for me personally. My skin felt so irritated, but not in the normal way a retinoid cream or oil can leave it. It didn't fade down and then leave my skin with a better texture. Sad to say this was passed onto a friend, as it did not work for my skin at all. That being said, Ren is a lovely company, and their other products I have tried have been fantastic

Heavy scented and contains palm oil.
I bought this face oil as an extra nourishing layer for my dry winter skin. I personally don't believe in "natural retinol", there is only one effective retinol that will achieve desirable results, therefore I only expected nourishing benefits from this product. I started using it in combination with my usual cream at night and after few nights I noticed my skin looked red and irritated. I have sensitive skin type, so it might be the fragrance (the product is heavy scented in my opinion). I decided to check other ingredients as well on official Ren Website and was very surprised that it contains Elaeis Guineensis (Palm) Oil, the controversial ingredient that SpaceNK failed to mention on Ingredient list. I was very surprised by this discovery and from now on I am planing to check official websites for ingredient lists.
