The highly concentrated resveratrol in this solution is derived 100% from Japanese knotweed, as it is a natural phenol which can be found in a number of plants. Similarly, the ferulic acid present in the formula is a high-potency phytochemical antioxidant found naturally in the walls of plant cells.
This formula does not contain any water, silicones, oils or alcohol and can be mixed with other treatments to enhance the antioxidant capacity of the product’s ingredients.

Apply alone or after water-based serums, before oils or heavier creams. Alternatively, mix with other treatments to enhance their antioxidant capacity significantly. This treatment is highly concentrated and can be diluted with most oils per application to reduce strength.
A small amount of Resveratrol 3% and Ferulic Acid 3% and The Ordinary Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2% or Vitamin C Suspension 30% in Silicone can be diluted in any one of our oils at each application to form an outstanding antioxidant network of Vitamin C, Ferulic Acid and Resveratrol in lipids. It is recommended to keep this mixture at low strength.
If irritation occurs, cease use and consult a physician. Use only as directed on unbroken skin. Patch testing prior to use is advised. Keep out of reach of children. Do not refrigerate.

Bad Smell
I was so excited to try this product. I have it and it smells bad. Is it supposed to smell like that?

Adverse reaction
I wasn’t sure for a while what was causing my breakouts . The first time I began using it, I was also using other Ordinary products and Timeless skin care vitamin C so could not identify the cause of my skin breakouts and dermatitis. I quit using everything except my cleanser and my sunscreen, and had to take a steroid cream to alleviate the red burning patches. So I tried to use it again recently and within hours my skin was hot and red and I washed my face to remove the resveratrol and ferulic acid serum. Still red, but not as hot as it was

Good antioxidant, wierd smell
I have been using this for a few months now and I do like it. My skin is dry so I like the moisturising feel of it and it does noticeably brighten and smoothen my face. It also doesn't react with other products in my regime. However, I don't think I would repurchase as it does the same thing as other antioxidant serums and does smell weird. I think it smells like the oil used on horses sadles, not horrible, but not something I want my face to smell like.

Caused dermatitis
One or two drops after mild probiotic toner caused burning. Next day I had two red, flaking patches in each side of my face. Stopped using. Took 2 weeks to heal. Have not tried again. I'm sure it is the ferrulic acid. I've used other resveratrol products in the past with no irritation. My vitamin C product contains ferrulic acid and I can use it without irritation so kind of a mystery. Somehow I ended up with 2 bottles of this product and I can't use it. Maybe I can repurpose it somehow, but that seems kind of pointless.

Hot dog water
I have no clue if this works because the stench of it revolts me. How are there so many positive reviews without any mention of the fact that your face ends up smelling like a hot dog?
