Developed by skincare expert Caroline Hirons, the intermediate-level serum features 0.5% hydroxypinacolone retinoate and 0.05% retinal. It is ideal for regular users of retinoids who want to maintain their results, and can be used to tackle breakouts, fine lines and dark spots for a clearer, healthier appearance.
Fitting easily to the existing pump, the refill continues to deliver the benefits of the original serum. Best used in an evening routine, it exfoliates and conditions the skin to help leave the complexion looking smoother and more even with a radiant appearance.

Use in the PM, after cleansing. Apply a few pumps of the serum across your face and lightly massage into the skin, avoiding the eye area. Allow to absorb and follow with your moisturiser, if preferred. Use sun protection during the day.
For Retinoid 2, we would recommend using twice weekly until you are acclimatised. You can then increase your usage to up to 3 times per week if desired.
If you are currently using an acid product (e.g. AHA, BHA toner), we would recommend you use this and the retinoid on alternate days.
PM Retinoid routine example: Cleanse, Tone (hydrating toners/mists only), Retinoid 1 or 2 Treatment, Eye Cream, Moisturise (if needed).

An amazing product!
I really love this product. I started with the retinoid 1 and then moved up to the retinoid 2. It was gentle on my sensitive skin and I am seeing a great improvement! I love that they offer refills to make the packaging more eco friendly. I would recommend everyone try this out.

Great product!
I moved up to this having finished my Skin Rocks Ret 1. Again, it’s so gentle and nourishing that I don’t even have to follow it with moisturiser! Love that you can just buy the inserts too as cheaper than buying a whole new bottle. Great product, really pleased!

Really nice retinol
I really like the skin rocks retinol 2 and this refill is perfect, it saves wasting packaging. The retinol is perfect for all skin types and is gentle even for sensitive skin types plus a little goes a long way, another amazing skin rocks product, I would highly recommend

Brought this as soon as it was released and it did not disappoint! The effects are next level, and I noticed a difference in my skin the following morning.
