Overpriced but I liked it

I think you really have to have sensitive skin to bother with this, as there is not a lot to it but it is useful if one does suffer with skin reactions as I do. The real player here is the oat flour, as oat lipids are proven to have a calming effect. Otherwise, there is water, glycerin as a moisturiser and a few seed oils in what is probably quite low concentrations which will act as emollients. It smells of seed oils, which is not entirely pleasant and it delivers mild hydration (the water and glycerin) and a mild soothing effect from the oat flour. It gave no irritation at any time, and I used this on areas of healing eczema quite happily and finished a full 50ml bottle. Not sure I'd buy again at this price, but I'd happily use again if in a set or advent calendar. So there we have it, unsophisticated and overpriced, but useful if you have very sensitive skin.

Nice but...

This is nice, but I'm not sure that I would re-buy. I found it quite thin and it smells almost of olive oil to me. Not unpleasant at all, but not what I was expecting. My skin looked nice in the morning. I would have preferred something thicker, but if you like light serums this might suit well.

More resilient skin

I am making a repeat purchase of this serum because I absolutely love it. I usually apply it after using harsh acids or retinoids, as it soothes my skin and reduces any redness. While it may not provide the traditional silicone-based hydration, it nourishes my skin thoroughly and often negates the need for additional moisturizers during warmer weather. However, I believe that it is most effective during colder and drier weather.

Not for me

I received this in a kit I purchased and was looking forward to using as I love the cleansing oil. My skin was feeling a little sensitised as a result of overdoing the retinol and thought this would be perfect solution. It has for me an unpleasant smell, very natural but it does dissipates quickly. I’m not sure if it did anything to calm my sensitised skin but it didn’t make it any worse. I wouldn’t re-purchase because of the smell.

I want to love

Had free sample at this price point i really wanted to live this product but was instantly put off by the “natural” scent… it smells literally like some kind of healthy cooking oil. It was pleasant to massage face with but didn’t really feel any different to a natural nut oil I’d use for cooking at this price point I wouldn’t purchase… but cannot vouch for long term benefits
