i got it as part of a Christmas advent calendar so i was looking forward to try it as i really like their hydraulic version. However, i'm finding it really heavy as i place it and also my normal cream takes a while to settle down after applying it and i believe it's because of this serum as i didnt use to have this problem before. For the price it's i really doubt i'd be buying it again in the future.

Very good
I've been using this serum for years and I can say it's excellent for my sensitive skin. I enjoy that the serum's consistency is light, so I'm happy to use it in the mornings after applying retinol at night. Additionally, it moisturises my skin sufficiently for me to skip using a day cream during summer time. The cumulative effect makes the skin seem better overall and more radiant.

Very underwhelming
I was exciting to try this out as I have a friend that swears by Sturm, and it such a price point, I was expecting forward to love it and try to justify it in to my routine. However, I was really disappointed. I didn't really see any of the reviewers talk to the smell, but I felt my product smelt really odd. A bit like onions (the only thing I could use to describe it). The milky consistency was fine for me, though different. I didn't feel like the product did anything for me at all. I didn't enjoy using it, I didn't like how it felt on my skin, didn't like how it smelt and didn't think it did anything for me. I was religiously using SkinCeuticals Serum 10 before this and I cannot compare the two. Maybe it's because the potency of vitamin C isn't as high? Regardless, this is definitely not a product I will use again, especially at this price point. Points for not irritating my skin though.

Good
I have not tried many Dr Barbara Storm products. I purchased this as part of a recent Space NK beauty box. My previous experience with vitamin C serums was disappointing but this one is really nice. Firstly, no unpleasant smell. It is a light, creamy texture that is easy to apply. No irritation or tingling on my slightly sensitive skin and so far my skin looks radiant.

Radiant skin
This is on the pricy side, so I’m not sure I would repurchase (I got this as part of a beauty advent calendar), but having said that I have seen a marked difference in the brightness of my skin. A colleague even commented that my skin looked glowing! A little goes a long way with this product, so it does last for a while. This is a great Vitamin C serum if you’re happy to spend more than average.
