Where and how do you find your inspiration for new additions?
'My patients are my endless source of inspiration and I'm inspired by hearing patients say they wish there was a product, or a better product, to address a particular concern. Plus, I am constantly learning new things as a practicing dermatologist. I am inspired by taking a new concept in the biology of skin and applying it to developing new products.'
What word encapsulates your vision for skin after using your range?
'Radiant! My products deliver the key anti-ageing and nutritional ingredients the skin needs to maintain a perfect balance.'
How did the Hydrating Modeling Mask come about?
'Masks can specifically target a range of complexion concerns such as inflammation in a concentrated delivery. I simply wanted everyone to have the kind of professional products I create for my patients, and to achieve extraordinary results at home.'
Any standout ingredients in the mask formula?
'Hyaluronic acid because it hydrates and plumps skin by holding 1000x its weight in water. By putting hyaluronic acid in a mask I can use it at a super-high concentration and it can be driven into the skin. The other key ingredient is a newly discovered algae called algin that forms the mask. It carries the hyaluronic acid into the skin using an occlusive barrier to block out oxygen and allow concentrated ingredients to penetrate deeper.'
