It's safe to say, Dr. Jarts metallic pink pots of Dr. Jart+ Cryo Sorbet Icy Facial Mask added a touch of excitement to my pre-party routine. Plus, I needed a treatment - my skin looked dull and dehydrated, and my pores looked bigger and more congested than usual.

I’d never seen a face mask in this format before, so I wondered if it would be tedious to prepare, but it couldn’t have been easier. After adding water and waiting a few seconds, the powder dissolved into a silky, light pink jelly. I was so surprised at how cold it got in just ten seconds.

One ‘serving’ of sorbet is very generous. I applied liberally with my pink spatula, and I still had some left over for my neck. If you were getting ready with a friend, you could probably share one! The coolness of the mask felt so refreshing and the thick consistency was so easy to work with. It didn’t spill, run or fall off my face. It stayed put for the full ten minutes, which I think is the perfect amount of time to wear a mask for as I'm often running late.

Having such a thick layer of mask reminded me of the masks that they use during facials in salons, and the cool temperature helped it feel less claustrophobic. Rinsing the mask off was equally effortless, I used a washcloth to remove the majority and only had to splash my face a couple of times.

My skin felt incredibly hydrated, and I could instantly see that my pores were refined. I had such an unreal glow that I thought it was a shame to put makeup over it! My makeup on top did look amazing, and the glow was still visible a few days later. My skin had literally drunk the moisture; I looked utterly revived and felt a bouncy plumpness. This level of hydration and luminosity is a real step up from the results I get from my day-to-day skincare routine, so I'm keen to try some other Dr. Jart+ products.

The pot design is genius, as they’re very portable. Due to limited space in my luggage, I rarely bring face masks on holiday, despite it being the time that I'm usually most in need of a pamper! I’ve been so excited by the results of this mask, it’s a must-try. The results are genuinely on par with professional facials that I've had.

Although I rarely use face masks, the pretty packaging and concept of this product intrigued me, and the results were very impressive. I have combination skin, so I’m always looking for new ways of topping up my hydration to keep my skin balanced, soft and smooth. To be honest, I’m in love with this product.

Preparing the mask was so easy and mixing it with water is incredibly satisfying. The spatula gave me lots of control when applying and made the process feel hygienic and professional. I found the slight coldness very relaxing, and it reminded me of ice globes that you usually only find in a salon. The thick texture created a cushion-like glove that surrounded and hugged my skin. I’ve never felt a skincare product like this before and it was lovely and soft, which is how my skin felt once I rinsed off the mask.

Because of the luxurious experience, I felt that this mask was more of an at-home spa treatment than a simple face mask. My skin felt great, it was flooded with moisture and felt deeply hydrated and slightly plump. I noticed a glow that I’d like my skin to have every day, but more than anything I was stunned at how soft my skin felt! I couldn’t stop touching it!

To maintain and hopefully elevate my results, I’m going to keep using this mask regularly. The best part is, it’s so fun that I'll actually look forward to using it.
