We Asked Two People To Review Medik8's Exo-PDRN Prismatic+ Serum
So, what does Exosome-PDRN, actually mean? Let's break it down. Exosomes are packed with peptides, proteins and lipids to support your skin's natural collagen and elastin production, while PDRNs help to stimulate your skin's natural repair process, reduce inflammation and also improve elasticity. Containing over 151 billion plant-derived exosomes, Medik8's serum promises to deliver radiance and bolster your skin barrier, while the plant-derived DNA chains in the formula have been bio-engineered into prisms to allow for better absorption.
In true Medik8 style, there are some big promises: this serum claims helps to reverse the appearance of your skin's age by five years in just 28 days and deliver visible results in 14. Will it deliver on these and bridge the gap between professional treatments and at-home skincare? We’ve asked two of our most trusted team members to put Medik8 Exosome-PDRN Prismatic+ Serum to the test for one month and let us know how they got on.

Vicky’s Medik8 Exo-PDRN Prismatic+ Serum Review
Skin type: Combination
Product reviewed: Medik8 Exo-PDRN Prismatic+, £79.00

I committed to trying Medik8's new serum for one month, and I'm very impressed with the results. I started out by applying the serum morning and night onto clean skin, before my moisturiser. Unfortunately, I found that the serum took a while to rub in and felt ‘too much’ under my makeup. Therefore, I started using it solely in the evenings.
After wearing overnight, I was happy to wake up to beautifully plump skin, beaming with hydration. To touch, I had a lovely softness without any dewiness or oily residue. My makeup looked better throughout the day, combatting the dreaded ‘office air’ effect!
After two weeks, I noticed that my fine lines were less visible and my skin's hydration had improved overall. As I approached the four week mark, I began getting more compliments than usual on my skin, with people actually asking me what I'd been using! I had very clear, glowing skin and my fine lines were noticeably reduced.
To get this kind of reaction after just a few weeks, while only using once a day is very impressive. Despite seeing great results in a short period of time, I didn’t have any negative side effects, such as purging or tingling. I would say it's a good anti-ageing product for sensitive skin, which is really hard to find. I want to see how much further my skin will improve with continued use. It's giving me the results I crave from skincare, and I’ll be trying other Medik8 products!
Georgie’s Medik8 Exo-PDRN Prismatic+ Serum Review
Skin type: Normal
Product reviewed: Medik8 Exo-PDRN Prismatic+, £79.00

Having used plenty of different serums, including the Liquid Peptides Advanced MP and Niacinamide Peptides from Medik8, it’s safe to say I know my stuff. I tend to skin map with different serums to suit my skin's needs on the day, so the fact I can use this product alongside other products is brilliant.
The texture is very unique, it has a watery-gel consistency and it’s quite runny. It takes a little bit longer to absorb than my other serums but it looks great under makeup. It’s utterly weightless and feels silky and smooth once it dries.
My skin immediately drank the burst of hydration each time I applied. After a couple of weeks I noticed that my skin tone looked very even, with less redness. As I approached the four-week mark, my fine lines and pores were definitely less visible. To touch, my skin felt much firmer and any dehydration lines that would usually appear when I press my skin upwards had disappeared. I’ve noticed that my skin looks more radiant, but it glows naturally from within rather than because of a dewy moisturiser that you can feel on your skins surface.
I’ve honestly not used anything like this before and the results are undeniable. In my opinion, it really improves the overall health of your skin!
Our Verdict On The Medik8 Exo-PDRN Prismatic+ Serum Review
Both of our reviewers were impressed with the hydration, revitalisation and smoothed texture that this serum provides.
PROS: This unique serum fits in seamlessly with your existing skincare routine to revive your skin without any negative side effects. Both reviewers reported a noticeable reduction in fine lines, a more even skin tone and improved hydration overall.
CONS: While Georgie found that the serum absorbed easily, Vicky had to allow a little extra time to wait for it to fully absorb before she could apply makeup.
