Isabel’s Laneige Juicepop Box Lip Tint review

Shade reviewed: LANEIGE Glaze Craze Tinted Lip Serum, £19.00 in Lo-fi Mauve

Isabel's Laneige Juicepop Lip Tint Review | Space NK

At first swatch, I thought this would be another pretty lip oil to add to my collection...but I was wrong. After a few seconds, I wiped the product away only to reveal the most gorgeous wash of colour – and it would not budge.

I tried the shade Lo-fi Mauve, which was a beautiful neutral colour with a warm undertone. It’s one of the more subtle shades in the line-up, which makes it perfect for everyday looks, and it would suit such a wide range of skin tones and styles. The stain it left behind was essentially my-lips-but-better – I can’t wait to use it during spring and summer as I embrace more natural, fresh beauty looks. The initial glossy finish lasted for around two hours, but the hydration and definition stuck around for the entire workday.

Shade reviewed: LANEIGE Glaze Craze Tinted Lip Serum, £19.00 in Mocha Remix

Lauren's Laneige Juicepop Lip Tint Review | Space NK

Firstly, shout out to Laneige, because I LOVE the packaging! The keyring feature is very cute and will likely be on lots of people's stories. I also really enjoyed how the applicator curved to the shape of my lips with precision as I applied ‘Mocha Remix’.

The consistency was very runny and wet on my lips as I applied and didn’t feel sticky like a typical gloss. This brown shade was a little darker than I would usually go for, but it’s nice! If you like a true chocolate brown, this is for you. I think Jazzy Jam is calling out to me, and I really enjoyed the staying-power of the formula so I will happily purchase it to use as an every-day tint.

Once dried, it did not transfer one bit and lasted well until I took my makeup off. It’s nice to have a product like this in my routine, as applying lip liner and gloss throughout the day is time consuming but something I feel the need to do to look ‘put together’. This solves that issue!

Shade reviewed: LANEIGE Glaze Craze Tinted Lip Serum, £19.00 in Disco Coral

Olivia's Laneige Juicepop Lip Tint Review | Space NK

The shade ‘Disco Coral’ looks vibrant on first application, then settles into a really flattering pink-coral tint. Immediately after applying, my lips felt hydrated and more comfortable. The formula feels more like a non-sticky balm than a traditional oil or gloss. It’s lightweight and feels barely there. I would describe the finish as more of a sheen than a high-shine gloss. It has a soft satin look that’s not as “wet” as I initially expected, but it didn’t dry down in a tight or matte way.

The keyring packaging is fun, playful and compact and the application was a dream. I felt the product glide over my lips smoothly as the applicator has the perfect curve with a slightly pointed tip, so it hugs the shape of the lips beautifully and makes it easy to define the cupid’s bow.

I loved how the initial colour payoff was vibrant but then softened into a natural pink glow once it set. I’d apply it slightly ahead of time to allow it to settle for the best finish.

Shade reviewed: LANEIGE Glaze Craze Tinted Lip Serum, £19.00 in Red Classic

Ella's Laneige Juicebox Lip Tint Review | Space NK

My chosen shade ‘Red Classic’ felt like a rather bold choice, but I’m pleased to say that it was gorgeous, and wearable even on an office day! I liked how I could choose how bright the shade was with how much of the product I applied. I previously imagined lip tints to be hard work, but the consistency felt more like a lip oil rather than a gloss and it was the furthest thing from sticky.

I applied just before lunch and even after two hours, people couldn’t believe it had been that long since I applied it. When I got home my lips were still stained! This is seriously low maintenance. I love this product, and I want to try out some more shades.

Bethany’s Laneige Juicepop Box Lip Tint review

Shade reviewed: LANEIGE Glaze Craze Tinted Lip Serum, £19.00 in Popstar Peach

Bethany's Laneige Juicebox Lip Tint Review | Space NK

I tried the shade ‘Popstar Peach’ and it’s truly the most gorgeous shade. I don’t usually go for Peachy shades on my lips, but the pigment isn’t too strong, especially once it dries down. My lips stayed hydrated all day and the tint remained intact, so although I loved how the tint can clip onto my bag or keys, I didn’t really feel the need to re-apply. I had the perfect pop of colour that complimented my daily routine. It feels nourishing, the colour is amazing, and it lasts incredibly well. What’s not to love? Everybody needs this!

Nabi’s Laneige Juicepop Box Lip Tint review

Shade reviewed: LANEIGE Glaze Craze Tinted Lip Serum, £19.00 in Electro Berry

Nabi's Laneige Juicebox Lip Tint Review | Space NK

When I first saw the shade ‘Electro Berry’, I was slightly intimidated and wondered if it would be too bright for me. Luckily, I was wrong. Upon application it felt like a really nourishing slick of lip oil with a very lightweight texture, I needed to build up the colour with a few layers to achieve a bolder look. Initially the tint appeared as a lovely berry-toned pink gloss, which left behind a natural-toned stain that lasted for a couple of hours.

Electro Berry looks perfect for my lighter makeup days, and I really liked having something with such good staying power and hydration. I have attached it to my Space NK lip gloss holder keyring, which is a guarantee that I won't lose it and will use it all the time!

Chloe’s Laneige Juicepop Box Lip Tint review

Shade reviewed: LANEIGE Glaze Craze Tinted Lip Serum, £19.00 in Jazzy Jam

Chloe's Laneige Juicebox Lip Tint Review | Space NK

I’ve tried my fair share of lip stains - from wipe-off formulas to felt-tip versions - and while I love the concept, I almost always end up adding balm for extra shine. So, the promise of colour and gloss in one sounded like a gamechanger.

Jazzy Jam is the most beautiful warm plum with a subtle brown undertone. It looks darker in the packaging than it actually is and while it flatters my fair skin beautifully, I can see it working just as well on deeper skin tones.

The texture is like a lighter, non-sticky version of a lip oil, with a soft shine that lasts around two hours before settling into an even stain. Even after lunch, while the gloss had faded, the colour held on. Overall, I loved how it pulled my whole makeup look together, making a statement while still feeling effortless enough for everyday wear.

Our Verdict On the Laneige Juicepop Box Lip Tint

In a nutshell, everybody loved their Laneige Juicepop Tint, which means there's definitely a shade you will love too. If you’re looking for a good quality lip tint to give long-lasting colour and hydration, then you should give this product a go.

THE PROS: From the ultra-precise applicator to the nourishing formula, this long-lasting tint simplified everyone's day, by relieving them from the constant re-application of balm, liner and gloss. Everybody had a lot of love for their shade, even if at first glance they seemed a little intense, as the oil tint formula was lightweight and buildable.

THE CONS: The more pigmented the shade, the longer it seemed to last on our team! Therefore we suggest bearing in mind that the tones are more muted than the name and packaging may suggest. Don't be put off by the bolder shades!
