Dissolve the skin’s dull top layer and reveal a replenished complexion with The Ordinary Mandelic Acid 10% + HA. This skincare formula mixes glycolic acid with mandelic acid to penetrate the skin slowly, in turn making the solution milder and therefore better suited to sensitive skin types.
The Ordinary Mandelic Acid 10% + HA offers a superficial dermal peeling that is gentler than other alpha hydroxy acids. In addition, glycolic acid has resurfacing properties that help to dissolve the bonds which bind dead cells to the skin.
This formulation also contains hyaluronic acid to help hydrate the and comfort the skin while plumping away the appearance of unwanted fine lines. This serum is both vegan and cruelty-free.

Apply once per day, ideally in the PM. Can be diluted with other treatments to reduce strength until skin develops tolerance.

Amazing for cystic acne and acne scars
Just wow... I tried both lactic and salicylic acid, but they caused me to get cystic acne. I first thought it was a breakout phase, but breakouts usually are small red pimples rather than big cystic and painful ones. After doing a lot of research, I bought this and am just amazed. I have combination skin but am also sensitive. I have been using this only for a month, and I have already got rid of some of the cystic acne scars, which are almost impossible in just a month. My pores are smaller, and there are no more blackheads. I don't have that tiny bumpy texture on my chin anymore either. It's so gentle I don't feel any irritation. It's not greasy at all, but it's not drying either. Just perfect. If you have cystic acne, just go for it.

Hooked! Gentle yet effective chemical exfoliant
I've been using TO's mandelic acid for as long as it has existed. I've tried many (and by 'many', I mean a number in the hundreds) chemical exfoliants in my 45 years on my uber-finicky, part dry/part oily/ALL reactive and sensitive skin, and this one is The One--it does the job and does it well--I've had virtually NO flaking or peeling, redness, irritation, or sensitivity as a result of using this product. For the past seven or eight years I've also used Retin-a five nights a week, and I've never encountered any negative effect using both Retin-a and TO's mandelic acid (just don't apply both products together at the same time.) I adore the texture of this serum; it has an *almost* dry-oil-like feel. 'Absorbs' quickly and doesn't stain bedding or clothing. I apply this serum at night, once every five or six days, and I top it with a hydrating, slippery, thick-textured peptide serum from a K-beauty brand. The morning after I've applied TO's mandelic acid serum, I see a real difference, my skin truly looks better than it did the day prior to application: glowing and luminescent. Wonderfully simple and effective. Give it a shot; even if you don't like it, you won't have broken the bank trying it. I'm hoping it'll work for you as perfectly as it does for me!

FOR ACNE SCARS
I’ve been using this product for about a month now and I have delicately seen visible results!! My post acne scars were really bothering me and I researched about what products would help me and this one clearly did. It is also moisturising as it has hylauronic acid

Takes time to absorb into skin
This is my second bottle. I use it twice a week…have to wait about 1/2 hour before stickiness is gone, then put on moisturizer.
