worth a try
It is a very good primer and is effective on oily skin. It covers your pores and keeps your skin matte for few hours. This primer makes my foundation look smooth and flawless. But you need to work very quickly to spread it out, otherwise it makes foundation look cakey.

Best primer to ever exist
The best primer for my combination, acne-prone skin, a matte foundation (I use Revlon Colorstay for combination/oily skin) over this radiant primer makes the perfect pairing. The glow is absolutely STUNNING, the skin looks extremely smooth and uniform.

I use this in my T zone and it just makes my makeup look so smooth and matte! I physically saw my pores blur and disappear when I put it on! Which is exactly what I wanted because I get oily so easy if I use liquid makeup! I love this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Works, but difficult to use
As others have said, this is better applied by tapping the skin, and not rubbing the product onto the skin. This is OK if you have enlarged pores or oily skin on maybe just your nose or a smaller part of your face, but it doesn't work for the entire face. It simply takes too long, and when you put it allover, it almost makes foundation look heavy and cakey.

Hit and miss but worth it for the good days
I have a love-hate relationship with this product. It’s very matte and so is perfect for oily skins. I have a very oily tzone so use it just there and a different primer on cheeks etc. You need to warm it up between your fingers and then kind of press it onto your skin - DO NOT RUB. Occasionally it makes my face look really cakey (and this seems to be at random - no different application/make up on top etc) but the rest of the time I love it.
