About The Brand
Hermès was founded in 1837 by harness-maker Thierry Hermès in the heart of the 9th arrondissement in Paris. The French maison first started crafting high-quality harnesses and leather goods, it’s only in 1922 that Hermès started creating luxury bags and ready-to-wear items. In 1951, the Hermès Perfume department was born with the iconic Eau d’Hermès Eau de Toilette. Animated by both an artisan and artist approach, the Hermès perfumery is an auteur perfumery, represented today by the creator, Christine Nagel. With each scent, Hermès wants to tell a story, express an emotion and open the window of imagination. The luxury fragrance brand now has an array of Eau de Toilettes, Eau de Parfums, Colognes and a Bath and Body range with signature scents like Terre d’Hermès and Elixir des Merveilles.
