About The Brand
Founded in 2019 by Selena Gomez, Rare Beauty is a vegan and cruelty-free makeup brand that’s all about expressing yourself through unique makeup looks. While the brand was only launched in 2020, their ethos was years in the making. First appearing on screen when she was just ten years old, Selena Gomez’s idea of beauty was moulded by filtered and photoshopped images that were in abundance as she was growing up. Now, through Rare Beauty, she’s on a mission to champion self-acceptance. Since its launch, Rare Beauty has taken over our social media feeds with hero products like the Soft Pinch Liquid Blush and the award-winning Soft Pinch Lip Oil. The brand’s signature impact initiative, the Rare Impact Fund is committed to raising $100 million over ten years to expand access to mental health services and education to young people across the globe. We are contributing to this initiative with 1% of Rare Beauty sales on Space NK going to the Rare Impact Fund.
