Why Sisley-Paris Black Rose Cream Mask Is A Bestseller

Sisley Black Rose Cream Mask review | Space NK
Generally speaking, there are two camps when it comes to hydrating face masks: overwhelming and game-changing. There are the face masks that promise to nourish and soothe skin but have very little impact, and the formulas that really do leave your skin feeling softer, plumper and more radiant. Sisley-Paris Black Rose Cream Mask is firmly in the second camp.

Sisley-Paris is one of the most renowned luxury skincare brands in the world and its Black Rose Cream Mask is its bestseller. Infused with black rose to smooth, shea butter to nourish, provitamin B5 to hydrate and botanical extract alkekengi calyx which helps to boost collagen production, this face mask is designed to revive tired skin in just 15 minutes.

At £133 for 60ml, is Sisley-Paris Black Rose Cream Mask worth it? We asked two Space NK team members to road test the mask and share their honest opinions. Keep scrolling to discover their verdict.

Sophie’s Sisley Paris Black Rose Cream Mask

• Skin tone: Fair with pink undertones

• Skin type: Combination with rosacea

• The product: Sisley-Paris Black Rose Cream Mask, £ 140,00

My skin was feeling the effects of winter before I started using Sisley-Paris’ face mask and I had a few dry and red patches where my rosacea had flared up. What I loved most about the Black Rose Cream Mask was the consistency. It felt like an incredibly face cream rather than a rich, heavy mask and it didn’t feel tight.

I put the face mask on as the last step of my skincare routine and wore it overnight. It felt so luxurious, and I genuinely did wake up with glowing skin. I’d also add that I think the formula helped to calm my redness slightly. Some masks can exacerbate my rosacea, so I was pleased that Sisley-Paris’ formula didn’t.

I usually only get dry skin in specific areas such as around my eyes, but the cold weather has dried out my skin more than usual this year. With my skin feeling dry and tight, I had high expectations for Sisley-Paris’ mask. The smell and the texture had me hooked straight away as it was so nice to apply.

I applied the face mask in the evening after cleansing and left my skin for a couple of hours before I did my usual skincare routine (applying a serum and night cream). My skin was so much smoother, softer and more radiant after using the Sisley-Paris Black Rose Mask.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve used the mask twice and will use it weekly moving forwards. Sisley-Paris is one of my favourite skincare brands, so I’m thrilled this bestselling face mask didn’t disappoint.

The Verdict: Is Sisley-Paris Black Rose Cream Mask Worth It?

There are few face masks as luxurious in both scent and texture that genuinely deliver hydrated, glow-boosting results quite like Sisley-Paris Black Rose Cream Mask, £ 140,00. While not everyone has the budget or inclination to spend £133 on a single skincare product, if your skin is in need of a little TLC and you are going to invest in a formula this would be very high up on our list of recommendations. You can see and feel a difference in your skin after just one use.

More From Sisley-Paris

Sisley-Paris is easily one of the most renowned luxury beauty brands and its skincare in particular is highly regarded. The Black Rose skincare collection contains several of the brand’s bestsellers, including the supremely luxurious Skin Infusion Cream – try it once and you’ll never look back.

There are several other skincare products than fly under the radar but are more than worth the investment. For example, the Sisley-Paris eye makeup remover makes the mundane task of removing your mascara and eyeliner feel luxuriously satisfying and we love the convenience of the pump dispenser. Likewise, the Buff and Wash Facial Gel feels pampering as you slough away dry, dead skin and product build-up.
