gorgeous
Absolutely love this candle. the jar and fabric label are really beautiful, the jar emits a gorgeous creamy glow. I like most of these candles, this one is musky but with a sweetness to it. Have to admit By the fireplace is my favourite fragrance in the range, warm sweet and smoky, but Whispers in the Library is my second favourite.

Amazing
I love these candles so much, they have a great scent throw and last a long time for a smaller candle. This is one of my favourite scents which I love to burn in my lounge in the evening. Highly recommend these and they make amazing presents for friends or family

Devine smell but throw could be better
I purchased this without smelling it but after reading the description and reviews, I thought it sounded like my perfect candle. I love Biblioteque by Byredo so I was pretty sure I'd love this too and was intrigued to compare, especially as this one comes in a bit cheaper! The vessel looks chic and when I opened the box, I could smell the lovely scent immediately, which I thought was a good sign. This range is meant to trigger a memory of a time and place, and upon burning, it has a warm, sultry, authentic smell that definitely transports me to a cosy night in, wrapped up under a blanket with a partner, reading books on a winters day - for me this definitely feels like an autumn/winter scent but I would probably burn it all year round as it has some of the ingredients I love. The throw isn't as impressive as some of the reviews proclaimed, IMO, but the room it was burning in definitely filled with a warm, comforting scent and I would buy it again for sure!

Beautiful
Ok, I have to confess. I haven’t burnt this. I bought this along with the Lazy Sunday morning and 2 more solely because they are so beautiful. I also absolutely love the scents. I can’t bring myself to light them up though because they are just so beautiful. So I can’t speak for their quality as candles but I can tell you - they smell amazing even without being lit and they are stunning decor pieces. Also, I’m obviously nuts for buying expensive candles for decor but that’s me…

This is heavenly!
These candles are truly evocative. I have tried many and i love all of them. The only problem i find with them is sometimes the wax tunnels. But that isn’t something that can’t be easily fixed. Beautiful scents though, totally worth the price tag. The quality really speaks for itself. The glass is classy and so is the label. Simple but chic.
