Dreamy and evocative
L’Ombre dans l’Eau is my favourite fragrance by Diptyque and I’ve been wearing it for many years now. It’s so unique and not a fragrance you encounter many other people wearing. These solid perfumes are so handy and quite cost-effective - glad they are available as an alternative to the concentrated oil rollerballs which Diptyque discontinued a few years ago, and were equally handy for keeping in your bag/travel.

Fantastic
I absolutely love this - L’ombre dans l’eau is one of my favourite diptyque fragrances . It’s perfect to have in your handbag, the scent is amazing and I feel like it lasts a long time. It’s really nifty and the refills are reasonably priced too. Makes a great gift for someone special!

gorgeous little object
This summer I bought the Philosykos solid perfume and I loved it so much I picked this up when I switched to my autumn scents. It's quite heavy for it's size, and the shape, colour, design and scent makes it feel as though you are holding a charm or amulet. It feels very much like a special object. It's quick and easy to apply to refresh your scent on the go, it's such a perfect little pick me up. It also comes with a little cotton pouch to protect the coloured design on the cover. The scent doesn't last as long as a spray, but its fine because it's so portable it's easy to reapply.

Gorgeous packaging
The packaging of this is a work of art. Feels really luxurious and heavier than expected! I love the L'ombre dans l'eau scent. I would say it smells a bit more grassy/green than the scent of Baies in candle form. Since it is a solid perfume, the scent does not project very far, and disappears in a few hours. Will need constant reapplication.

Everything about this is beautiful
I bought this originally for the case as it was so exquisite. When it arrived it was even better quality than I first thought. It comes with a little velveteen drawstring pouch and the case is weighty, with incredibly beautiful detailing. The solid perfume is easily applied and light to medium, I keep this by my bedside to wear at night or in the evening. The L’ombre scent is pretty similar if not the same as Diptyque Baies candle so if you’re a fan of that, you’ll love this. Thoroughly pleased with my purchase and very happy that it is refillable
