Not rich enough!
I have long, thick and coloured wavy hair. I purchased the shampoo and conditioner and I am not impressed. It has a strong fragrance which I am not fond of. I expected the shampoo to help with improving my scalp health, but I found it difficult to use. I needed to use a generous amount to wash my hair and found that it leaves a lot of buildup on my scalp. Also despite its name, I didn’t find it nourishing or hydrating enough. Even though I like Sam McKnight’s styling products, I won’t be purchasing any shampoos and conditioners from this range.

My old times favourite
This is the best shampoo I’ve used. I got my sample last year and since that I haven’t used a different shampoo, also purchased conditioner, mask, cool girl spray, dry shampoo and a few more. Love every single one of them!

It's alright
It's alright but for the price I would expect amazing. The scent is for me overwhelming, not really enjoyable and you have to use quite a lot of product, so as a result you get through the bottle faster than expected for such a price. It does a good job of nourishing the hair, but beyond that I don't see such a benefit for the price.

Good, not amazing
Wasn't sure about this at first as I felt like it didn't lather too well and it needed a lot of product over several applications to get my hair really clean. My hair does feel good after using it and the scent is nice, not too overpowering - but might end up going through it quite quickly due to the amount I need to use each time, which makes the price difficult to justify.

Knotty
I definitely felt this gave my hair volume and it lathered and cleansed well without drying or irritating my scalp. However I did find it also made my hair more prone to tangles and knots, I have fine, naturally curly hair so maybe it is more suited to thicker hair types.
