I cannot recommend Susanne Kaufmann Soothing Cleansing Milk enough. After trying numerous cleansing products, I finally found the one that ticks all the boxes. This cleansing milk is truly a game-changer and I wouldn't use anything else. It effectively removes makeup, leaving my skin feeling clean and refreshed without any dryness or irritation. Gentle

Very soft on the skin and does not dry it out. There is a feeling of residue but you get used to it... It kind of feels like a leave-in conditioner for the skin (although I wash it off thoroughly) but it stopped bothering me after the first few days. I haven’t used this after makeup but I might need a stronger cleanser as this doesn’t feel like a deep clean, albeit it does remove the oiliness from my face well. I have very sensitive skin prone to rashes and itchiness and have tried the nutrient concentrate from SK which caused a rash, but this product didn’t.

An excellent cleansing cream

I have combination skin and usually prefer gel cleansers, like the excellent one from Susanne Kaufmann (Purifying Cleansing Gel). But I have tried this Cleansing Milk and was pleasantly surprised about how well it performed and how good my skin felt after using it. It is very lightly but pleasantly scented, and is best applied and massaged on dry skin. It does a pretty good job of cleansing but without in the least drying the skin or being agressive. Even with my combination skin, I could do with this profuct. For people with sensitive and dry skin, this should be a god sent! What I do to make use of this wonderful product and yet cleanse just a bit deeper is to follow Susanne Kaufmann's suggestion of applying the cleansing milk first and then massage the Purifying Cleansing Gel on top of the cleansing milk before rinsing. This double-cleanse produces very, very good results. I must add, however, that the Cleansing Milk is not very economical. You use a lot more of this product than the gel, and if you are using the double-cleansing described it can be very expensive. If you do not want to spend that much, you can just use any one of these excellent products and still get very good results. Milk for very dry and sensitive skins, the gel otherwise in my opinion.
