I really wanted to like this product as I have heard so many good things about it and Tatcha's products have always worked really well for me. Unfortunately this did not work for me at all. It broke me out after just one use so I had to stop using it.
Great addition to skincare routine
I received a travel size sample of The Essence with my last tatcha purchase, and I absolutely love this! It's great for the winter months and or/dry skin when your skin requires extra hydration. I will be definitely be adding this to my routine. Would be great if Space NK sold the travel size version of this product too.

Great add on
I got a free Essence sample and enjoy using it before applying my skincare. My skin feels even softer and nicely hydrated. I love using light serums and this one feels similar. There is no noticeable smell which is nice too. Definitely thinking about adding this to my routine.

Nice but not a must have
I got a sample sachet with previous purchase, my skin is sensitive and prone to breakout so I always take extra caution when trying out new products. The essence has minimum ingredients which didn’t cause any irritation on my skin, absorbs fast and adds a nice boost of hydration. Overall I enjoy the addition of the essence, but personally found it a little pricey for what it does.
