“Use a liquid eyeliner on the upper lash line, where you want a more precise application; but for the lower lashline, use kohl for a smudgier, softer look.” - Karen Alder, makeup artist

When travelling around the world beautifying actors and A-listers alike, the first thing Karen packs is a streamlined stash of skincare essentials.
SHOP SKIN SAVIOURSKristy-Lee’S VERDICT “The part of the process that stood out to me most was the primer you put on your eyelids to avoid smudges and creases – I’ve never thought of buying something like that, but now I’ll definitely invest.” - Kristy-Lee

Step 1.
Smooth NARS Smudge Proof Eye Shadow Base across the eyelid.
Step 5.
Using tiny strokes, dot Le Métier de Beauté Precision Liquid Eyeliner right at the base of the upper lashes, all the way along the lashline.
Step 2.
Begin your smoky eye by washing Le Métier de Beauté True Color Eye Shadow in Rose Champagne all over the lid. This unifies the lid with a subtle, pink tone.
Step 6.
Apply Le Métier de Beauté Precision Lash Extreme Mascara to lower lashes first, then upper.
Step 3.
Start blending your focal shade of choice across the lid. We chose Le Métier de Beauté True Color Eye Shadow in Spicy, a warm copper that complements Kristy-Lee’s blonde hair and freckles.
Step 7.
Finally, smudge a touch of NARS Larger Than Life eyeliner beneath the lower lashes to frame the eye.
Step 4.
Apply Bordeaux, right in the outer corner of the lid – then blend outwards in a soft wing shape.
