Relish the feeling of soft, silky skin with the Herbivore Amethyst Body Scrub, a gently exfoliating body polish that combats dullness, dryness and flakiness. Inspired by the healing properties of its namesake gemstone, the polish helps to harmonise the complexion.
This soothing body scrub contains crushed amethyst stones, which work to improve skin texture, preserve youthful-looking skin and promote luminosity. Jasmine sambac oil, virgin coconut oil and magnesium-rich Epsom salts further nourish the skin for improved hydration and relief from irritation. Immediately calming, the scrub helps to ease tension when used as part of a bath-time ritual.

Treat….
Bought this as a treat, I don’t usually use body scrubs, but it is vegan and it’s purple and shiny so why not!? I wasn’t a fan of the smell, it was overly sweet and not a natural scent, it was very artificial, but the scent did not linger too much so it wasn’t a huge issue. Left my skin feeling nice and soft, it wasn’t harsh or stripping and washed away easily. It was a nice treat but I wouldn’t buy again.

Luxurious, purple vegan scrub in a glass jar
I have always wanted to buy some Herbivore products - a solid vegan brand that is also luxurious. I haven't been able to plonk the money down though. I was finally able to treat myself to one very upscale product and wow, it was absolutely worth it. Besides the beautifully designed label and elegant glass jar, this is deliciously thick body exfoliator that smells fresh and floral. What a joy it is to exfoliate with this glamorous scrub!

Good But Not Necessary
This is a nice body scrub, I use it in the shower as a physical exfoliator. However it is quite expensive for how much product you are getting. I believe you can find a similar product for cheaper such as Herbivore's Coco Rose Body Polish which I prefer and are very similar.

not economical
I really liked the caring qualities of this scrub; it really polishes and moisturizes the skin. After it, a thin oil film remains, which is well and quickly absorbed into the skin, making it more well-groomed. But it ended very quickly. faster of all the scrubs I've had. a little expensive for such a volume

would make a nice gift
Once or twice a week I like to use a body scrub so decide to give this a go. This is definitely more style over substance. The glass jar is weighty and because of the clean packaging design it would look great displayed in a bathroom. This would make a lovely gift for someone born in February (amethyst is the birthstone for that month) but I don't believe the ground amethyst this contains actually has any benefit for your skin. The most interesting thing about this for me was the scent. It smells strongly of grape candies, it is a very distinct smell of artificial grape that you find in purple coloured hard or gummy candies or popsicles. This left my skin soft and I didn't need to follow up with a moisturizer after, but I don't have very dry skin. I won't repurchase because I have a much cheaper body scrub that I prefer.
