Burning for up to 90 hours, this scented candle provides the warm, elegant fragrance of exotic spices and mysterious incense. It combines the fragrances of vetiver, patchouli, aniseed, spices, cistus, Tonka bean and incense.
Diptyque Scented Candle Cognac Ambre should be burned for at least two hours on first use to ensure that the entire top of the candle becomes liquid wax. This will help ensure that the candle will burn more evenly with subsequent uses. The wick should also be regularly trimmed before lighting.

Gorgeous scent
This was my first duplique candle received as a gift and I adore the scent. The size of candle was a little tricky for tunnelling, so I had to keep a close eye on how it was burning etc to avoid that leading to losing some of the burn time. My favourite dyptique scent tho so it was worth the hassle.

Expensive mistake
I am obsessed with candles and Diptyque's my favourite brand. I took advantage of the Space NK sale before Christmas and ordered 3 Diptyque candles. I am not sure where these were stored and for how long, but none of them, including this beautiful 300g Ambre one, has any throw whatsoever. I ended up burning them for the beauty of the vessels, but I will use others for some scent.

Gorgeous
Present to myself when Christmas shopping- after smelling in store…. Very first time I had spent this much on a candle or tried Diptique candles and bought this and a smaller one that complimented and very impressed. It has a warm homely scent that fills the house when lit in the living room, my only irk with this purchase was finding out it isn’t possible to purchase actual branded refills (my bad -should have checked prior to purchase). I think this is a scent that is very safe to gift difficult to describe but delicious

Stunning
First off was getting this as a present, it was beautifully packed in space NK own festive packaging, and of course the candle itself is branded beautifully. The size is perfect, it’s slightly larger than regular standard Diptique candle, and not as massive as a 3 wick candle. Making a perfect substantial gift. My friends were so happy and saying not only the smell is warm and perfect for winter, but it also looks amazing in the interior.

LOVE IT
I love this scent by Diptyque - you can use this all year round but it definitely is more special in Autumn / Winter. Makes my home feel warm, inviting and luxurious. Only downside it can get a bit smokey towards the end and can throw off a dark flame that will stain your wall if too close! It is expensive but you get what you pay for, the craftsmanship and presentation by Diptyque is worth it alone! Just bought the Limited Christmas Edition -Very nice!!
