Trim candle wick to 5mm before each burn. Centre the wick after each burn before wax has solidified. Candle should not burn for more than four hours at a time. Place candle on a heat resistant surface and draft free area.

Elegant scent
I blind bought this candle as I had heard great things about the scent and I am pleased to say that it didn’t disappoint. The scent is not your typical floral or sickly scent but a warm wintery amber with a hint of spice which is perfect for colder nights at this time of year. It’s not too strong but leaves a lovely lingering smell in the room once it’s out. Will definitely buy again.

Obsessed
I had this candle on my wish list for about a year but finally took the plunge when a promotion came on the site. I had a feeling I would love it (I’d never actually smelt it before) and it exceeded my expectations. I’m a big fan of anything amber but this is just amazing. Even when it’s not lit I can still smell it when I walk in the room. I would buy 10 of these if they weren’t so expensive!

Unusual
I love a number of Byredo scents and so I was really keen to try this candle. The black wax and jar are stunning and it burns evenly and cleanly. The scent is very unusual - a smoky oriental. Initially, I thought the scent was barely noticeable but on the second burn, it really kicked in. Maybe even a little too smoky and strong for my liking. It is definitely an acquired taste. I will burn this again on a cold evening which is more suited to enjoy this fireside scent. I think it will grow on me.

Great throw, beautiful scent
Bought this about a month ago to add to my growing collection of scents from this fabulous brand - I'm obsessed! As with the other scents from this brand, the fragrance is gorgeous and the throw is perfect for my open plan kitchen/living area Burnt daily for a couple of hours, this candle lasted me approx 2 weeks which I think is reasonable so will continue to repurchase Will absolutely repurchase!
