Augustinus Bader Oil

Tried this in a sample, first time using this product. I usually use Sarah Chapman's products all the time. I loved it's quality on the skin, rich and hydrating. I would like to buy a bottle and also try a facial at the clinic. The products are as they say, definitely full of richness and work on the skin.

Worth every penny

I have honestly never had so many complaints as I have done since using this gorgeous face oil. My skin looks radiant and so well moisturised yet leaving it supple. That feeling lasts all day long and makes me feel super confident. Yes it's on the pricy side but unfortunately for me this is now a staple product as I get instant results.

nice oil, but very expensive for what it offers

I do use other facial oils, so was not averse to trying this offering from A Bader. I had a 10 ml bottle, so plenty of product to know if it did anything or if I liked it. I've got combo skin, not many wrinkles, some sun damage. This oil is quite thick, but does sink in eventually. It is so thick I could only use it at night and in winter. It doesn't have any particular scent, so that's a plus and the yellow colour doesn't affect skin tone. It didn't irritate and did create a short term look/feel of moisture upon application. But I just never found myself reaching for it - partly for the thickness of it, partly because it doesn't seem to make much difference or offer additional benefits like vitamins or retinol. I also hate the dropper bottle to extract product although I will give them points for being opaque to protect potency of whatever is in there. The long and short of it is that I found myself reaching for other oil products and used the final bit of this on my body, which worked very nicely, but the price point is far too much to use as a body oil. So, if you really like thick oils and aren't concerned with the cost for a single-purpose product, go for it, but you can probably find something more effective at a better price point.

Illuminated skin

Augustinus Bader The face oil is expensive, but the composition and quality is first class. I can see the difference after the first night I use, my skin is beautifully moisturized and illuminated and glowy, without making it oily. Feels lovely on the skin.

It’s just OK

I’ve been using these products for a little over a year, and the results are not anything different than a less expensive cream or lotion can produce.
