AM or PM. Use 1-2x a week. Apply a thin even layer on clean, dry skin. Allow the product to sit on skin for up to 20 mins before washing off. Rinse with cool water to remove all product. Repeat cleanse if desired. Follow with your usual moisturizer. Be sure to use with SPF.
Due to the high concentration of Vitamin C, you may experience some tingling sensation upon application. If the sensation is too intense for your skin, reduce time product sits on skin. If irritation or redness persists, discontinue use. Patch test first before using. Do not use on broken or compromised skin. Do not use on the same days as Retinol or other strong actives.

Kate Somerville products are usually great in my experience, but this one was a bit of a miss for me. As others have mentioned, it’s pretty sticky and difficult to wash off - I remove with a tissue first and then wash off. I don’t really like the feeling of it on my skin either, so I haven’t used it consistently and haven’t seen immediate results when I have used it occasionally. I much prefer the KS retinol and vitamin c moisturiser which i find really effective and is a staple in my bathroom cabinet!

Use regularly to see results
As with any treatment, you have to be regular to see any effect. I have greasy skin and I use it every other day to see an effect. I would say test yourself first how your skin tolerates it. 1-2 times a week is not enough for me to see any results. Also depends how much melasma and pigmentation do you have or none at all. I don't find it tingles the skin much, only perhaps on the first application.

I wish I loved this
For the price point this should be real love and it was very promising to me. I am not particularly sensitive and use strong acids but if that's not your case then please patch test first. This mask is thick and hard to remove, will stain white flannels if not washed thoroughly right after. I can hardly tell if there's any brightness afterwards but can confirm it did nothing for my stubborn hyperpigmentation, which is exactly what I hoped would do 😞

Good but patch test first!
I plonked this on last night, long term vit c serum user and wow, it’s strong stuff. It has slightly burned the area below my eye contour and to the side of my nose. I see the instructions are clear on patch test and I ignored this because I’ve used so many Kate S and vitamin C products before so definitely test first and do not assume that it’ll be fine for the reasons I did. I would try it again as the boys that aren’t red are certainly a lot brighter but clearly will be doing so much more cautiously.

Loved the sample
I received recently sample of this mask in SpaceNK and immediately tried it and I must say, I want to buy full size. Really refreshing and I could see that it helped with my pores and the overall face glow. Easy to apply and very easy to get rid of as well.
