Used to be different
I first used the Kiehls dark spot corrector a number of years ago to resolve small areas of hyperpigmentation from spot scaring. It did seem to work then. But I’ve used it more recently and it didn’t seem to work. I find using vitamin E serum in the morning and retinol at night to be much more effective.

Completely burned my skin
I got this as a sample sent from the Kiehls ‘four step routine’. It has left my face with burning sensation, prickling pain, red splotches all over my face and painful spots/ pimples. I’m disappointed in this product. My face was finally starting to clear up and now it is worse than it already was. I don’t know how long it is gonna take to heal, and it will probably leave me with more dark spots/ scars.

This serum is really light weight and sinks into the skin easily. On first using it did seem to work really well on minimising the dark areas on my skin, including hyperpigmentation from spot scaring. But after prolonged use I’m not sure that it’s working as well and think that there are probably better solutions for minimising dark spots.

Waste of money
This product did nothing for me. I used it twice a day for 2 months. I might as well have used water. It did not diminish my dark spots or smoothen my skin. It didn't make my skin tone more consistent. I wish I hadn't bought it. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
