Great but mysterious
This does what it says, but I think it's worth noting that we don't really understand what this does. At least I don't. It's not exactly a self tanner but it's not exactly not either. It encourages melanin production in the skin to keep you tan, it says. Does that mean your freckles and moles will be affected? If I'm using a vitamin C cream or serum in my skincare, which is known to decrease melanin production in the skin, will it counteract this product? I did not manage to find any answers to these questions by reading ingredients or searching online. As I said, it gives you a nice golden sheen and seems to extend your tan. But what exactly is it and what other product should I avoid while wearing it? Can I wear it under the sun as well? I don't know.

I didn't know exactly how it was supposed to work, so I checked it out more thoroughly and found out that the oil contains Tan Activator Complex, which increases melanin production, providing a golden, even and long-lasting tan. It reduces the risk of flaking and leaves the skin satin-smooth, because it contains soothing and moisturizing complexes that support the skin's natural regeneration process, leaving it nourished and moisturized. It is suitable for my sensitive skin and the shiny texture leaves a golden tan. And that smell - wonderful, smelling of sun and vacation!

Luxurious after sun oil
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first time trying a Lancaster product and this after sun oil maximiser feels so luxurious and hydrating on the skin. It has a slight glittery shimmer and is non sticky upon application so sinks in nicely. It's also good that this product helps to maximise your tan so you keep that glow for as long as possible! Lovely scented product and makes you feel and smell good!
