- Step 2: Use light strokes to apply to the high points of your face (i.e., tops of cheekbones, brow bone, bridge of the nose, cupid’s bow). Remember, less is more!
- Step 3: Doubles as eyeshadow. Apply to lids for a glass-like sheen. Tip: For an even more intense highlight, first spritz your brush with the Rare Beauty’s Always an Optimist 4-in-1 Mist, then sweep across the powder and apply Made of 50% pearl microshimmers set in a semi-sheer base, this highlighter is more delicate than it looks. Rare beauty powder highlighter
This highlighter is absolutely incredible. It feels so soft on your skin and will last you so long because it is so pigmented that one touch you can use for your whole face. It gives you a glowy but effortless look and is so easy to apply. I definitely would recommend. I have heard no bad things about it and will always be a safe gift for a friend. They are guaranteed to love it!!

Beautiful Glow
I prefer more of a subtle highlight so I was worried this might be a bit too much but I’m so glad I bought it. It definitely can be built up to be a blinding highlight but it can also look so subtle when lightly applied. I got the shade Mesmerize which is a stunning pink shimmer that also looks really pretty when applied on the eyes. I can’t wait to try out the other shades!
