We Reviewed Tatcha's Longevity Serum For A Month
While Tatcha is revered for targeting a range of skin concerns, the latest addition promises to tackle skin-ageing by visibly reversing the signs. The gel-oil hybrid, infused with a unique Okinawa Cellenscence Complex, claims to grant a firmer, smoother complexion, a strengthened skin barrier, plus the usual deep hydration and glow-giving results we’ve come to expect from the brand.
We asked three members of the Space NK team with different skin types to trial the new serum for a month and decide whether it lived up to expectations. Read on for their honest Tatcha The Longevity Serum review.

Caitlin's Tatcha The Longevity Serum Review

Ever since it launched, Tatcha's Water Cream has been a constant in my daily skincare routine. For that reason (and because I’ve tried so many Tatcha products, being part of the skincare team), I’ll admit I’m biased when it comes to the brand. The formulas are always so luxurious and the results are incredible.
Predictably, the Longevity Serum is no exception. For context, I have a normal to combination skin type and – other than my skin looking a little dull sometimes or the odd breakout – I don’t have any particular skin concerns. But even so, I’ve noticed my skin is visibly firmer, brighter and replenished now that I’ve been regularly using the serum.
I prefer serums to be lightweight and hydrating, so I was equally impressed by how quickly the formula absorbed into my skin and how refreshing it felt. Not only does it give my complexion an instant glow, but that radiance lasts nicely all throughout the day. I feel as though I have a new layer of skin on my face after using it for a month – one that’s a lot fresher and bouncier than before! I’m looking forward to carrying on using the Longevity Serum and enjoying the results.
Abbey's Tatcha The Longevity Serum Review

I have a normal skin type, so my priority is just keeping it balanced, nourished and healthy-looking. Occasionally, I’ll reach for a serum when I need an extra hit of hydration, but usually, I can do without.
Now that I’ve tried the Longevity Serum however, I think I’ve changed my tune! It’s been a joy to use, with a formula that’s super absorbent without leaving a sticky finish. I only need one pump of product for my whole face. Plus, it feels silky on my skin and give an immediate smoothing effect (that’s been my favourite part!)
After consistent use over a month, my skin looks more radiant and even and feels softer and smoother. I’d say the serum lives up to its claims as I’ve also enjoyed a subtle firming effect over time. I plan to officially incorporate it into my skincare routine as its lightweight texture means I can happily use it everyday to make my skin feel more refined, without feeling ‘heavy’.
Our Verdict On Tatcha The Longevity Serum
Overall, the Longevity Serum earned mixed reviews from our Space NK team! While the texture and packaging were popular, the results varied between each reviewer.
THE PROS: All reviewers agreed that the serum was lightweight and fast absorbing, making it suitable for daily use. Over the course of a month, two of our team noticed that their skin was visibly smoother, firmer and more radiant.
THE CONS: Depending on your skin type (especially if you have acne-prone skin), you might prefer a gentler formula.
