AMAZING COVERAGE
I really like this root cover up, it's my 2nd purchase. I prefer the fine texture of this than the root sprays. The blonde is a lovely golden blonde which covers up my grey roots really well and leaves a nice shimmer, very easy to apply and blends in with the rest of my hair colour so well. It's easy to wash out, I have also used the platinum which is slightly cooler in colour but found on my hair the blonde colour gave more coverage. It lasts a long time too as you don't need to use much and stays in until you wash your hair.

does what it says
Nice and easy product that does what it says it will - covers white hair well. Can also be use on scalp to make hair seem fuller overall. Not messy like some spray products on the market easy to travel with and lasts a long time as you do not need much

WOW ROOT COVER UP
This does a good job of covering up my roots in the last 2 weeks before my next colour. It is fairly easy to put on, I use the smaller brush and do it slowly. However it does t travel well as after a journey in my makeup bag part of the colour had broken away from the palette and fell out onto the dressing table as ‘soot’ - it took some removing. Also it needs to be thoroughly washed out before having the next colour as it is a waxy substance that acts as a barrier to the colour. Having said that I am on my 3rd palette, so rate it for covering roots for special occasions.

This did not work for me
As the title suggests this really did not work for me - for full transparency I have naturally very dark hair which has been lightened to a honey blonde colour and so my roots are very obvious and this powder just isn’t strong enough to cover it, it looks like I’ve just chucked a bit of talcum powder on my roots and does not look convincing at all - it might me better for lighter colours.

It works
I haven’t tried this on truly dark roots for my dyed blonde hair, but my roots are a mix of mousey brown and grey and this does cover them up when I need a little help between hairdresser appointments. It works well with the texture of my hair and doesn’t look claggy or cakey like I’ve read some of the root colour sprays can do. I have thr blonde which is a very warm golden blonde, probably a little too golden for my hair.
