The key ingredients that make this toner so effectively are imperata cylindrica root extract and antarcticine. The root extract acts as intense moisturiser in the driest weather. The plant from which this root is derived survives in the most arid places in the Australian outback and contains high concentrations of potassium, creating a lasting hydrating effect. The antarcticine helps protect the skin from the driest weather, shielding it from the environment’s free radicals while hydrating the skin. In the coldest weather, this same substance protects the skin by facilitating retention of natural water reserves, leaving the skin with a smooth, supple texture.
To use, apply to a cotton ball or pad and gently cleanse the face. For maximum results, use this product with others that are a part of this product line.

I didn't find this toner as anything special, although I love Kiehls a lot I didn't find this toner as good as the others ones they have. Im glad I got to try toner out this but I dont think I would buy this again or recommend this to friends and family.

basic toner
This kind of a product, a toner that's supposed to clean the skin and remove sebum feels soo outdated now. I've tried it a few times and didn't notice it do anything special, however it didn't irritate my skin either. I use toner for hydration and didn't notice this one be particularly good for that.

Its ok
I bought this because I was looking for a toner that would help manage my oily skin without drying it out. It worked ok but not the best oil preventing toner I've used. I think it's great in the winter when you need a boost of hydration but I wouldn't use it in the summer. The formula is sticky which kinda turns me off from using it. I think if you lean more towards a dry skin type, this toner would be great for you.

gave me pimples!
Did nothing for my skin. Oil on my skin stayed the same and more pimples started to come out. Now my face is having to deal with this breakout!
