Tastes awful
I have this in Bite which adds a very light pink (think cherry jelly) wash to my lips. I love the colour, the easy to squeeze applicator and the texture which is a mix of balm and gloss very similar to Lancome Juicy Tubes. It’s just the taste which is awful. Even if I don’t eat or drink, this migrates inside my mouth and is so bitter / chemical that it makes me want to try to rinse my mouth. I’ve never been conscious of swallowing a product before as usually lipsticks etc seem to go on scented with vanilla / mint etc and then just sit there without any discernible taste This just tastes as if you licked a squeeze of your SPF. Because of that, it’s not pleasant to use so I often don’t bother.

Great apart from packaging!
Would be 5 stars as this is a lovely nourishing lip balm, gives a nice wash of colour and leaves lips looking nice and glossy. However, as other reviews have mentioned, the packaging failed- splitting around where the cap screwed on. Solved by decanting product into a small jar but really irritating- Ultra Violette please review the packaging!

Best summer lip balm
Absolutely love it. Have it in 2 shades and I've been using them throughout the summer. Think this is the perfect summer balm. It has spf 50 and it is so gentle on the lips. The colored one I have is very pigmented (I have rose and sheer one), and the sheer one has little glitter flakes in it. The only downside of it is the packaging. Both of the packaging broke while I was on my summer holiday. Don't know was it from the air flight pressure or the heat but they both broke on the twist part of the packaging. Bit sad about that.

SPF a great bonus
In the Australian summer, I like to try to switch to a lip balm with an SPF when I know I will be outside a lot. Overall, I was happy with this one and was pleased to see that it comes in a variety of shades. I am yet to find my holy grail lip balm with SPF however this one is pretty good

The best balm/gloss!
this is the best lip balm I have ever used, i use it as a gloss! It’s so shiny, not sticky and looks great with a bit of lip liner too. I use it everyday with or without makeup. This is a staple product that I will re-purchase time and time again. It’s also spf 50! Which makes it better xxx
