I regularly heat-style my hair and while it holds a curl quite well, I always finish with hairspray to lock everything in place. I found it especially satisfying to pair this with my OLAPLEX Nº.7 Bonding Oil, which is already a staple in my routine before heat styling.
The first thing I noticed was the scent. It honestly smells like a fresh wash. And true to what it says on the bottle, there was none of that crunchy feeling I usually associate with hairspray. My hair still felt soft and movable, and any slight texture from the product brushed straight out.

I'm not against hair spray but I usually avoid it because I don't like to add any stiffness to my style. Plus, as a curly girl, I am spoilt for choice with products that smell amazing, unlike your typical hair sprays.
I applied generously and I was really impressed by how lightweight the formula is. It didn't fill the air around me with an unpleasant odour either, so gone are the days of choking on hair spray at 8am! I could still scrunch my hair after spraying and my hair had a noticeable shine. My curls kept their all-important bounce until the end of the day and I was genuinely amazed at how well it worked. You truly can't feel it on your hair, but it subtly smooths every little wisp! I am a big OLAPLEX fan, so the fact that this spray is actually good for my hair is also a bonus.
If you don't like hair spray but need something to seal your style in place, this is definitely the product for you. During the summer months, I've noticed that my hair can go quite wiry and puffy when it's humid out but this kept my curls on their best behaviour and played nicely with the curl defining mousse that I applied beforehand.
