Our Beauty Writer's Best Buys Under £30
Just because a makeup or skincare product is expensive doesn’t always mean it’s better than its cheaper counterparts. In fact, there are plenty of budget-friendly beauty buys available. When I set out to scour my existing routine for products under £30, I was pleasantly surprised at just how many fitted the bill. Here are eight beauty products that I religiously use…

Restful Sleep Pillow Mist, € 34,00

There’s not been a night I haven’t used this pillow mist since first discovering it last year and I truly believe it’s the reason I’ve been sleeping better. With a sleep-inducing blend of essential oils, including lavender and amyris, it really does help me to drift off after a busy day.

IT Cosmetics

Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer, € 29,00

A good concealer is a makeup bag must-have. IT Cosmetics formula is infused with peptides and hyaluronic acid, so it’s incredibly hydrating and plumping. Just a small amount is enough to conceal dark circles and I love that it and lasts all day and never creases.

No.8 Bond Intense Moisture Mask, € 29,50

When it comes to hair masks, it’s safe to say I’ve tried a fair few but Olaplex’s debut treatment has become a firm favourite. I use it once a week and my hair is noticeably shinier and less frizzy.

Paula's Choice

Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant, € 13,00

I owe a lot to this trusty liquid exfoliant. Using it twice a week as part of my evening routine has really helped keep my breakouts at bay. Not only do I get far fewer spots, but the overall texture of my skin is much smoother and brighter too.

Charlotte Tilbury

Hyaluronic Happikiss, € 32,00

Before Charlotte Tilbury created her Hyaluronic Happikiss, I’d always used a lip balm alongside any lipstick as none were hydrating enough. This hybrid formula blurs the lines between skincare and makeup, offering the look of a lipstick with the feel of a balm.

Drunk Elephant

Sugared Koffie Almond Milk Scrub, € 32,00

Looking for a body scrub that buffs away dead skin cells in seconds but has a super moisturising formula? You’ve just found it. The blend of almond milk and plant oils ensures there’s no dryness whatsoever and the sweet coffee bean scent is a nice touch.

Suede Rinse-Free Hand Wash, N/A

Quite possibly the chicest hand sanitiser there is, Byredo’s Rinse-Free Hand Wash cleans without leaving you with that overpowering alcohol scent. In fact, your hands are left smelling glorious.

Amanda Harrington

Perfect Body Ultimate Gradual Tan, € 19,20

If, like me, you prefer a subtle sun kissed glow when it comes to fake tan, this is the one for you. It provides a natural-looking colour that you can build up over time. The real selling point for me is that it fades evenly and never goes patchy.
