Place the brush at the root of the lashes on the upper eyelid, with the widest part at the base of the brush on the outer lashes. Closing your eyes with each application, smooth the lashes from root to tip (without zigzagging) to coat and separate them.
Rotate the brush to work on the other eye, once again placing the longest fibers in the outer corner. You can also use the first (thinner) half of the brush to smooth the lashes of the lower lid.
