Don’t let the tin-man style contouring on social media put you off using highlighter. Just a hint of gold swept across your cheekbones offers both definition and radiance. The trick is to find the right shade for your skin tone.

If you want to accentuate your eye shape, a gold liner is essential. “Applying a gold eyeliner to the inner corners of the eye will add light and make your eyes look bigger and brighter,” says Sarah-Jane, who created the striking liner look on Sasha using Charlotte Tilbury Double Ended Liner, € 29,00.
