Apply two to three pumps on to your face, neck, décolleté and eye contour, each morning and night. Gently massaging into skin until it is absorbed.
How to use the Alter-Care Serum refill system:
- Lift the refill out of the bottle
- Hold the neck of the refill, unscrew the cap and put it aside
- Take the pump and screw the refill into it
- Hold the bottle with the STELLA logo facing you, then insert the pump and refill into the bottle with the pump facing you. Ensure it is fully inserted and then screw until you hear a click.
- Keep the cap of the refill if you wish to use it by itself or on the go

Hydrating, gentle and ethical
I love this. It's very light and my skin drinks it down, and looks fresher and healthier as a result. It also has a lovely, delicate and light fragrance. I mostly use it around my eyes and on my cheeks (and a richer product like Augustinus Bader Rich Cream on my jawline and décolletage). Recently the area around my eyes has become very dry and sensitive - maybe hormonal? Anything else stings and irritates the area. This is the only product gentle enough for me to use, and I have tried many. I find I don't need moisturiser on top, just SPF. It's cruelty-free, contains clean ingredients. The refills are more cost effective than the bottle and come with a screw-off flip-top lid so you don’t really need to buy the main product. I do have the bottle and it is very easy to fit the refill. I have kept the refill’s lid so I can remove it from the glass bottle and just use the refill part when I’m travelling. It is pricey, but I have no choice else the skin around my eyes would be constantly peeling (sorry if TMI!). Highly recommend as a tall cool glass of water for your skin.

Good serum for daytime
It is such a good idea to be able to buy refills for skincare as it is great for the planet and also means it’s cheaper to replace your serum. This is a rather expensive serum but it’s excellent to use in the morning under moisturiser as it sinks in very quickly and sits well under makeup.

Nice but way too expensive
I do really like this serum, the texture is great and it absorbed really well into my skin, no issues there whatsoever. If you don't like scent in your products stay well clear of this. I personally love scented products so this was perfect for me. Now there are scented products and there are scented products! If I were to use a scale this is right at the top. The one thing I really liked about the product was the scent. In general nice product. A hydrator more than anything else. Much too expensive for what it is

Not for my sensitive skin..
I was looking forward to using this vegan friendly product from Stella . I got this as a sample , the texture was light and absorbed Nicely . The was not strong which was nice . But after I used it twice I broke out in a rash . So I won’t be purchasing it.

Nice enough
I was able to try this product, selecting it as a sample in a few recent orders, so I feel like I've given it a good try. The serum is pleasant enough, though rather heavily fragranced. My skin felt soft and smooth after using this serum, though I could not detect any long-term discernable difference, especially at this price point. I love that this is a refillable product but I wouldn't purchase it.
