Nice but poor throw
I really like the small versions of the byredo candles for trying out new scents. This one is pleasant with woody and vanilla notes. Sweet and smoky. However I found the throw disappointing which isn't the case with other byredo candles I have tried (biblioteque and tree house). For this reason I wouldn't repurchase.

Complex, smoky vanilla
Wow. Firstly, thank you to the two reviewers who said this wasn't a sweet/sickly vanilla and that it had good throw - you encouraged me to buy this and are both totally right. It's so nice to have a vanilla that doesn't smell like cheap, generic body spray. It's a woody/smoky/incensy vanilla with a touch of rum. Very smooth and complex. I don't personally smell the geranium or rosemary, but I've only burnt it once so far. It burnt extremely well, very even and the smell filled my room even though it's a smaller candle. The candle itself is beautiful in all black. I usually buy diptyque candles but this was a couple of pounds cheaper so I decided to try it out. I'm very impressed and will definitely be buying more candles from Byredo!

Delicious
Smells deliciously smoky with soft hints of vanilla for a sweet, succulent effect once the smokiness wears off. Together, the two scents offer a unique scent effect that's nothing short of sublime. I like that the vanilla aspect of the candle isn't sweet and overpowering like I find with many other vanilla scents.

Lovely scent but gives me a headache
Beautiful warm and creamy fragrance, don't let the cold scent put you off as it's much more interesting when lit. My 70g candle throws extremely well for such a small size - perhaps a bit too well as unfortunately it gives me a headache. I have had the same problem with other Byredo scents so there must be something in them that doesn't agree with me. I will be (reluctantly) regifting this one.

Beautiful warm scent
This is one of my most favourite scents from Byredo! This is nice, floral and warm to my nose. But i think the best part about it is that it is a candle for all seasons. Burns nice and clean and is a truly luxurious experience. I would recommend this one!
