About The Brand
Launched in 2024 and founded by dermatologist Dr. Alexis Granite, Joonbyrd is approaching skincare and bodycare with Affective Wellness™, where wellbeing, beauty and lifestyle meet. The formulas and Joonbyrd products have been researched and under development for over three years, and are all powered by a proprietary ALXmd04™ technology. The brand was initially inspired by Dr. Granite’s memories of playing with her grandmother's gold-lidded lotions. The name “Joonbyrd” comes from the founder’s Persian roots - ‘Joon’ means soul, spirit and life in her grandmother’s native language. The brand is the result of years of dermatologic expertise, a passion for wellness and a touch of nostalgia.
