Firstly, if you want extra lift and even more curl, you can use an eyelash curler before your mascara – we love Hourglass’ Lash Curler. We recommend you start by wiping off any excess product from the wand onto a cotton bud or paper towel to avoid clumping. Once your wand is ready, start at the very base of your upper lashes by gently wiggling your wand from side to side and sweeping it upwards, ensuring an even coat. Let your mascara dry for about half a minute or more and go in again if you live for all the volume. For your bottom lashes, remember less is more! Tilt your head slightly forward and look down to avoid smudging. Then, do a gentle back-and-forth motion from root to tip with just the tip of your wand.

Tubing mascara uses film-forming polymers instead of traditional waxes to coat each lash in a flexible ‘tube’. This helps lashes look longer and more defined while reducing smudging and flaking.
