Your Questions, Answered

Popularised by K-beauty, lip tint is a makeup product that leaves a sheer wash of colour on the lips. Lip tint is light in texture and perfect for recreating a ‘just bitten’ look – plus, it’s buildable should you want more colour. If you love a simplified beauty routine, lip and cheek tints are for you – such as Pleasing’s Big Lip And Cheek Tint.

Start by applying a thin layer on the centre of your lips, blending outwards. Depending on the formula, you’ll have the choice of blending it with your fingers for an ultra-natural finish. Build it up if you wish to intensify the colour. For a monochromatic look, apply it on your cheeks too!

Because lip and cheek tints come in various formulas and finishes (glossy or matte), how long they last will very much depend on this. For example, some are designed to stay put for up to 12 hours. Water-based formulas will generally last longer than cream formulas. Lifestyle factors (such as eating and drinking) will also have an impact on how long your lip tint lasts.
