Great for liquid foundations
the bristles on this brush is perfectly tailored for liquid foundations. it seamlessly glides the product on with hardly any streaks. But I do have to go in with another dry brush to buff out little imperfections. I own and love Rae Morris brushes and this liquid foundation brush is a staple in my kit.

Absorbs product, streaky. But very soft.
I have a large collection of synthetic Rae Morris brushes and they are incredibly soft and well made. Unfortunately I was disappointed in this liquid foundation brush. It absorbs a lot of product for some reason. This combined with the density means that it is hard to wash. I use Sard soap as recommended by Rae and I really have to work the foundation out multiple times. I also found that had a tendency to become streaky as sections of the brush would clump together. Despite this, it's very soft. Not scratchy at all. For everyday foundation application I prefer a standard smaller traditional paddle shaped brush because it's easier and quicker to clean and doesn't streak (streaking isn't a big deal if you're going over it with another brush or sponge, but I find it annoying). I can see makeup artists enjoying this brush more than everyday makeup users. Her video on the brush talks about using it more as a paint brush to carve out muscles etc.

Gorgeously soft feel and focus
A lovely, quality brush. It’s so easy to use once you get the hang of it, and you can catch plenty of YouTube video tutorials to help. The bristles are soft, give a lovely soft focus effect but don’t get clogged up from picking up too much product. It is expensive, but worth it to have that airbrushed look for my base. Also, really portable and comes with the magnetic handle for easy storage.
