There are 3 ways to use hair-oil
- 1. Post-wash: if your hair is super thick, curly, coily or dry, apply a small amount all over wet hair after washing and conditioning with the hair-wash and hair-mask (sold separately)
- 2. In-between wash: if your hair is in need of added shine and suppleness in between wash days, apply to mid-lengths and ends of dry hair
- 3. Pre-wash: for any hair type, apply all over dry hair and scalp as a pre-wash treatment and leave on for two hours or overnight before your wash routine. This will help to protect your hair from hygral fatigue, and give you super soft, supple locks

So cute but…
I am obsessed with the cute packaging of this gorgeous hair oil. I bought it after using my friends one. It feels lovely on my hair and makes my hair super smooth. The only thing it that the smell is very overwhelming and powerful, but aside from that I live this product and will purchase it more in the future.

Love this!
The previous hair oil I had was a bit too heavy, even a little bit would make my hair look greasy. Not this one though, this is so lightweight and when my hair is extra frizzy, this really helps to tame it and add shine. Helps to add shine to curls without weighing it down too. The scent is nostalgic and smells like bubblegum / sweets. It definitely stays in your hair when you use it, so may not be for everyone. I have a small bottle but I could see myself purchasing a big one.

Lovely feel but smell not for everyone
I use heat on my hair most days of the week but have natural 3B curly hair. I was probably mostly suckered in by the packaging and it’s marketing towards those that may be mixed race (like me) and have a looser curl pattern rather than a tight kinky coil 4A - not that I imagine that this product wouldn’t suit you if that’s the case. I love the way this feels and much prefer the consistency and result over Olaplex. Great for smoothening flyaways after a blow dry and moisturising dry ends. Main issue is the smell, you really will love it or hate it. It’s a very synthetic strawberry scent, imo akin to children’s fragrance. Like seriously under age 12 appropriate. First smelled it in SpaceNK and hated it but ended up picking it up on a whim anyway. Now I’m indifferent but my cishet male partner LOVES it. It’s not overpowering so I can ignore it if it is a hating the smell day haha. I wish Bread would re formulate this with a better fragrance, fair enough strawberries but a more mature note like oud or even just a bit more depth of like vanilla would improve it by miles. If you’re particular about hair smell, maybe recommend layering over a hair perfume.

Wanted to love this!
*disclaimer* This might be because I have thin, straight hair! I wanted to love this, and I KIND OF do. I LOVE the scent, it smells absolutely stunning, but the oil itself feels a little too sticky for my liking.. it leaves my hair feeling a little weighed down*. I do like using this when I have my hair in a plait or similar hair style, because I think this oil has a little more ... Hold... compared to others! I do think this would be perfect to add shine to a tight ponytail or other updo!!

This everyday gloss by bread is my new favourite hair oil! Smells absolutely gorgeous and makes my hair shinier without getting weighed down and greasy! Great for a wavy haired girl with dry hair that’s prone to frizz - and I love the small bottle especially since you can carry it on the go for a top up.
