Developed to calm and clarify, this conditioning shampoo contains keratin to tame flyaway strands, deliver a smoother-looking result and protect against heat damage. Avocado oil and shea butter also help to calm frizz, while marshmallow root works to rid the locks of tangles so that it is easier to comb through after washing.
Only a penny-size amount of the Ouai Thick Hair Shampoo is required for a deep cleanse. Apply to wet hair and massage in gently, paying attention to the back of the head, where the hair can be thickest. After cleansing, rinse thoroughly in warm water.

Good but overpriced
I received samples of both Ouai fine and thick hair shampoo and conditioner with a recent order and I think I preferred this shampoo to the fine haired one, even though I have fine hair but lots of it. I feel it left my hair more moisturized and less fluffy after drying. It used better shampoos though and as with all Ouai products,as great as they smell in my opinion they are way overpriced.

OUAI THICK HAIR SHAMPOO REVIEW
I have been using this shampoo for about 3 months now. It is amazing in the way it tames my frizz and completely cleans out my hair without leaving it dry or rough after one wash. I recommend this shampoo to anyone with long, thick and frizzy prone hair!

Lovely smell and product
Great product- one of the best shampoos I’ve used! My hair feels clean and soft after using. I love the colour and smell of this! My hair has never been so nourished. Losing a star as think it takes too much to lather nicely so normally use slightly more than I’d like.

Really nice shampoo
I really like this shampoo - I tried the Ouai Detox Shampoo in the travel size and thought it was alright, but was really pleasantly surprised by how nice the Thick Hair Shampoo left my hair feeling. The shampoo smells great and isn’t overly rich, so it works well even if you have oily hair. It’s great when used in conjunction with the conditioner and also the hair mask.
